ancestors Sandro Song produced Royal Hit, the 1-c premium stallion of the 2002 Oldenburg stallion licensing. Loretta is by Ramino, who was champion of his performance test at Adelheidsdorf in 1983. He stood in Oldenburg from 1983 to 1987, while at the same time competing in showjumping with Melanie Kötter. The pair won team gold at the European Junior Championship in 1987, before he joined up with the Italian rider, Loris Pujatti, again with international success. Ramino has proven an exceptional sire of broodmares – he is the damsire of the jumping stallion, Gio Granno; the 1997 Oldenburg licensing winner, Ronaldo, and his full-brother, Rubin Star W, who won his stallion performance test and was a finalist at the Bundeschampionate; Sergeant Pepper, two time Bundeschampionate finalist is also out of a Ramino mare. Loretta’s dam, Lassie is by Welt As who was the sire of international showjumping star, Leroy Brown, and dressage star, Bonfire.Sandro Song is by the influential Oldenburg based, Holsteiner stallion, Sandro. Sandro competed in international showjumping competition with Franke Sloothaak. Sandro Song is out of Antenne II by Gepard, who left a lasting imprint on Paul Schockemöhle’s mare band – Gepard was a son of the great sire of showjumpers, Gotthard. The grand-dam Antenne won numerous Grand Prix with George Ahlmann. Her sire, Adlerorden was a top jumping sire in Westfalia, siring stars like Argonaut 7 with Bernard Kamps. Sandro Song is one of the few stallions to have been both Champion Oldenburg Junior Stallion as well as main premium winner. He himself competed in both dressage and showjumping to intermediate level. Despite the versatility of his sire, on his breeding most people would expect that Sandro Hit would have been headed for the jumping ring – trouble was, he couldn’t jump, but Ulf Möller found the way to bring out his dressage ability and establish a new dressage dynasty.
Don Schufro is by the outstanding stallion Donnerhall, who combined a sports career at international Grand Prix level with a remarkable breeding performance. He is the sire of 62 graded sons including Don Primero, Grading and Federal Champion in Germany and the sire of top dressage horses. Don Gregory, sire of the very promising young dressage stallion Don Davidoff, bought for £250,000 in Germany, and Dream of Glory, to name but a few. Donnerhall‘s progeny have so far won over £212,000 and his breeding index for dressage is a record-breaking 165 because of the consistently high level of performance of his stock. He himself is by the great International Grand Prix dressage stallion Donnerwetter, behind so many of our top dressage competition horses of today. His dam Fiesta who is also the dam of Fantastica full sister to Don Schufro and dam of the young dressage stallion Sunny Boy, is by the great Pik Bube, source of the correct dressage movements so sort after today. He is the sire of many top dressage horses including 30 graded stallions of which the international competitors Pikant, Plaisir d'Amour and Pik Primaire are some of the most successful. Fabia’s dam sire, the Trakehner Unkenruf is best known as the sire of Carl Hester’s international mount Rubeliet von Unkenruf and was also a very important name in the development of warmblood breeding in Australia when he was exported there at the end of his stud career. He is also a ¾ brother to the international dressage stallion Don Primero and the international dressage mare High Noon as well as having the internationally popular sire Donnerschlag as a close relative too.
