In 2008 Conthargos won the Dobrock Show Jumping Championship with a score of 9.5, he then continued his career by qualifying for the Bundeschampionat. Conthargos' sire Converter won 22 novice horse classes up to 1.30 m level & was Oldenburg's Regional Champion in 2005. Converter qualified for the Bundeschampionat & was runner-up show jumping stallion at the World Championships of young horses in Lanaken. Maternal grandsire, Carthago Z, demonstrated his quality in 1996 at the Olympic Games in Atlanta & has produced numerous top competition horses. 242 of his offspring compete successfully at 1.50 m level & have collective winnings of EUR 3.25 million.
