2011 filly by Clarimo out of a modern holstein mare by Corlando. Clarimo extreamly well bred by two of the most successful mother lines in Holstein. Wisma, the mother of Cassini I, II & Wodka II the mother of Clearway. He is a son out of the first breeding year of Clearway (Capitol I x Lord) & was winner of the 1996 stallion test.

  On the dam side Carrara was kept for her valuable blood. Her sire Holsteiner stallion Corlando is regarded as a Class I stallion, with above average individual scores, including a highly regarded 10 for jumping ability under saddle.  Corlando’s sire Calypso II descends from the legendary Anglo-Norman, Cor de la Bryere. He is quoted as being “one of the few genuinely impressive stallions of German competition horse breeding & one of the greatest Holstein foundation sires following the 2nd World War .” He is highly integrated in the pedigrees of some of the best Hanoverians and Holsteiners, exceeding 200 daughters, numerous approved sons, and countless performance horses. His impressive stature and kind temperament were prepotent in his progeny, the most influential being Calypso I & II, Calando, Caletto I &II, Cicero, and Corrado I. Calypso II is clearly his father’s son and is accredited for producing jumping horses of insurmountable scope and ability. He produced Contender, whom was the undisputed winner of the 1987 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test and the sire of MANY approved sons. Interestingly, both Contender and Corlando carry Ramiro in their dam’s pedigree!

  Grand dam sire Akzent II was placed into the top ten category based on studbook inspections and 134 for rideability on the basis of the mare performance tests. His dressage score on the mare tests was only 112, still better than his jumping ranking of 101. His FN ranking was 116 for dressage and 100 for jumping. By 2002, he had produced 747 competition horses with winnings of DM1,183,852. His most successful competitor was Karin Schlüter’s Amazonas, the winner of the German Dressage Derby in 1987 with winnings of DM98,623, not far in front of Isabell Werth’s Agnelli FRH, who won the Otto Lorke prize for Grand Prix horses under 10 years in 2000, and who by 2002 had won DM95,185. Akzent II was the sire of eleven licensed sons.
